| "Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready." It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. (Revelation 19:7-8) |
I can't wait to meet You, brethren,
when we see our Savior's face,
the sands of time are running out
on this present Age of Grace.
Our trials and our toil will soon be done,
our spirits be released.
How I long to run and greet with glee
my loved ones, long deceased.
We've been waiting for You, dear Lord,
since first we made our choice;
You are our precious shepherd and
as such, we know Your voice.
We're getting edgy, precious One,
as our wedding feast draws near.
We can't wait to hear you shout to us,
"My beloved, come up here!"
I can't wait to praise our Father too,
Who never gave up on me,
but gave You as a sacrifice
so I could live eternally.
I look forward to my final Home,
having finally run the race,
it's time for You to take your Bride
from this present Age of Grace!
