Nature:  Richard is a Security Guard, and has been working 3-11 PM.  They are hiring 2-3 more guys to fill in so that the 3 regulars (Richard, his boss Mario, and Billy) can have every weekend off.  Two weeks ago, they let Richard have Sunday off, this past weekend they gave him the whole weekend.  But he is going to have to work two 12-hour shifts this next weekend to give Billy the weekend off, unless they have the new guys hired and trained in by then.  Also, Richard is in line for a new job at his company working in the tool room.  And he can't take that job until they get more guys trained in as Security Guards.  Please pray Father Yahweh will get the new guys hired and trained in before next weekend so that Richard can be off with me; and that He will speed the process of them getting trained in so that Richard can take the tool room job sooner.

Nature:  Tommy & Shelly are going through seriously hard financial times right now.  Tommy is in a job 1.5 hours from home that he HATES, and Shelly has been laid off for about 2 months now.  Tommy is looking for work closer to their home (he is a Title Supervisor), and Shelly is looking for work close to home.  Today she is signing up with an employment agency for FULL-TIME work, probably as a clerk, receptionist or secretary.  If anyone lives in the Kingwood, TX area, and knows of jobs that might be good for these two, please let me know. Their Internet was cut off yesterday, and they need it in order to be able to look for work and email resumes to companies.

7/29 Update:  Tommy was laid off from his job today.  Now they are both unemployed!  But as you can see above, I had asked that Tommy be led to a job close to their home and that he likes, and he wouldn't have just "quit" on his own.  Please continue to pray for them... they can use all the prayers they can get, because not only are they going to have trouble paying their house note and other bills, but they also have no insurance. 10/13 Update:  Shelly filed for Welfare and Food Stamps, but they turned her down because she & Tommy "make too much" (Tommy's still unemployed too!)!!!  And yesterday, she received a letter telling her that her unemployment funds are dried up!  Please pray for them... they need practically a miracle here!  It's sad that our State won't give people help when they are trying to make a living and feed their family! 11/10 Update:  Shelly was hired within walking distance of their home, and Tommy had an interview last Friday.  Thank you, Father, for Shelly's new job, and friends, please continue to pray that Tommy will SOON find a job.

Nature:  (Robin's words) Please pray for one of my brothers Michael.  He builds homes for a local contractor who has run out of work (houses to build) and now Mike is out of work - and right now there is nothing in sight,  so he had to lay off his entire crew.  He desperately needs works as soon as possible.  Please pray the Lord open doors for him. Please continue to keep my sister in law and her husband in your prayers,  they are near to having to go into foreclosure and are praying for a buyer for their home and property.

Update:  (Robin's words) You have all had my youngest brother on your prayer lists,    Michael received a phone call over the week-end offering him some building work (large deck and some other odds & ends),  he will be starting that today,  he also may have a good chance at a full time position at Walmart in Nashville.  He asked me to send a Big thanks to every one that has been and will continue to pray for him. Please continue to pray for the Lord to lead and guide Michael in all he does and the choices he makes.

Nature:  (William's words) Please pray for my youngest brother,  the builder he subcontracted for has no more homes to build.  Everyone says they have never known this builder to be without work.  Both my brother and the other subcontractor had to let their crews go, because there is nothing in sight.  He has been without work for nearly a month and desperately needs work like so many others.  He didn't have unemployment on himself, but made sure he had it on the guys. Also my sister in law and her husband are still struggling to say the least with him not having a job, and both their health and physical issues.  They are in jeopardy of losing their home and property,  and she being a "brittle" diabetic is suffering terribly with the stress causing her blood sugar problems. Also pray for the revival that appears to be starting in our area as we lift up these issues in our area,  this nation and all around the world - to the Lord for His grace and mercy and provision.  There are so many people around the world suffering so much more than we here in the USA are right now and have been for so long.

Because of this I am presently in a position where the system is prohibiting my ability to obtain employment in an industry were the Lord placed me as a minister of his grace of healing . I'm requesting prayer for the breaking of these bonds which will allow future employers to discover the truth of my work record from the actual people who have witnessed my ministry. Please pray for the binding of the liars and deceivers who have been a hindrance. I greatly appreciate all prayers.

Nature:  (Deborah's words) I feel like I am looking for a job on the Titanic.  But that is the situation I am in.  The economy is tanking big time, and my unemployment will run out in 2 weeks.......and every time I find a job prospect it suddenly "goes on hold". I have just completed a direct mail advertising campaign offering my services at half price to companies. Pray that one of them will come through right away! Thanks! PS: I also need an inexpensive place to live.  I have to vacate where I am by Nov 1st.

Nature:  (Wendy's words) I have a very part time job with children through our church on weekends and we are going to camp this weekend. Please pray for God's blessings including traveling mercies through this weekend. Also, starting Monday, I am actively seeking full time work. I have a lot of obstacles to overcome to achieve this and I pray God would open all the right doors. Of course I would hope to "escape all these things" and be raptured but I have to prepare for an unknown amount of time to earn a living and finances are not good right now, of course they aren't good for many people.

They have a bias against me. My prayer is that God continues protecting me, giving me wisdom, and Supernatural favor in the eyes of our Senior Executive Mike, who is trying to set the house in order. I also pray for promotion, for it comes only from God.

Nature:  (Donna's words) Please pray to that my step-son Salvatore Danna finds a permanent good paying job.  He was recently laid off from his carpentry job while he was on vacation.  He has a wife and 3 daughters to support (one whom doesn't live with him) along with a mortgage payment, vehicle payments, and whatever other bills they owe.  Thanks.

Update:  (Donna's words) I would also like to thank everyone who prayed that my stepson would find a good paying job.  The job where he is now working doesn't pay what he would like it pay.  However, he's only been there for a short while, and they have already increased his hourly rate twice.  He may receive another increase in pay after another month which would be great.  The job is also within walking distance of his house so he doesn't need to buy gas for his truck to get to work.

Nature:  Shelly and her husband have both been laid off from their jobs.  Shelly's best friend, Summer, works at a company where there will be an opening soon for an Administrative Assistant, which is what Shelly is trained for. Summer had told her HR Rep quite some time back that Shelly would be interested in this position when it came open.  Last week (Thursday, I believe), Shelly called me and said that the HR Rep had asked Summer if Shelly was still interested in the position, and Summer told her yes.  It would be a wonderful opportunity for her, and she would be able to afford gasoline because she could carpool with Summer.  Shelly is a Christian, too.  Please pray that Father Yahweh will consider letting Shelly have that job if it would be a good job for her. 

8/25/08 UPDATE: (Shelly's words) I heard back from the job I applied for.  It is for Executive Assistant to the president of the company just down the street.  He told me he is having interviews Monday and Tuesday and a final interview on Thursday.  So I sent him my resume.  So say prayers for me, it looks like i have a job interview on Monday or Tuesday!!!  [This is not the job at Summer's company; this is a new one she applied for last week.  Peggy] 8/29/08 UPDATE:  Shelly never heard a single word from the man!  It was either not the job our Father would have wanted for her, or just not the right timing yet.  My prayer was/is that He would lead her to the perfect job for her, near her home, that pays well, when HE is ready for her to go back to work.  He knows what the perfect job for her is, and the perfect timing.  Please continue your prayers for her and Tommy.
