YHWH spoke again to Moshe [Moses], saying, "Speak to the sons of Yisra'el and say to them, 'YHWH's appointed times which you shall proclaim as holy convocations--My appointed times are these: 'For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a sabbath of complete rest, a holy convocation. You shall not do any work; it is a sabbath to YHWH in all your dwellings. 'These are the appointed times of YHWH, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at the times appointed for them. Feast of Tabernacles Sukkot - Birth of Yeshua (by Jerry Golden)
The Biblical name for Sukkoth is "The Feast of Tabernacles". There are three times the Lord commanded the Jews to assemble in the Temple in Jerusalem . On these three Holidays they were to present offerings to the Lord. Those three are Passover, Shavu’ot, (Pentecost) and Sukkoth. Sukkoth is the third and last of the three.

Weather: 'Rain in its Season' on Sukkot
The first storm of the season, heading for Israel in time for the seven-day holiday of Sukkot, may send much-needed rain to the parched region - but it won't be seen as a good sign by Jews if they are driven out of their sukkahs (festival booths) and prevented from performing the Torah commandments properly. The holiday begins at sundown on Monday.

Jews Mourn, Fast on 17th Day of Tammuz
