The
Church of Laodicea
(Revelation
3:14-22)
(And
to the angel of the church in Laodicea write:)
The Church Age of Laodicea
is the age in which we live.
Going to church, they think, will save them,
when to Christ their worst they give.
They
are lukewarm in their living,
neither cold nor hot are they.
And the Savior says He will spew them out
when it comes the Judgment Day.
They
think they are rich and wealthy,
and need nothing to fill the hole.
But Jesus says they’re wretched and poor,
so they forfeit their spirit and soul.
He
said, “Dress yourself in white,
so your nudity will not be shown.
Remember that I discipline
the ones whom I call My Own.
For
he who overcomes this world
will sit down on My throne with Me;
just as I share the Father’s throne…
throughout all of eternity!
