Bun Snood

Bun Snood

(This is a crocheted pattern for a small snood to cover a hair bun.)

Instructions:

Chain 4, join with sl st to form a loop.

Row 1:

Ch 1, sc in starting loop 6x's, join with sl st to first sc.

Row 2:

Ch 6, sc in each sc around (6 loops). Sl st in first three stitches of the next ch 6 (this will bring your work to the top of the loop).

Row 3:

* Ch 6, sc in next loop, repeat from * all around, end at base of 1st loop (6 loops). Sl st in first three stitches of the next ch 6.

Row 4:

* Ch 6, sc in same loop, ch 6, sc in next loop, repeat from * all around, end at base of 1st loop (12 loops). Sl st along first three sts of ch.

Row 5:

* Ch 6, sc in next loop, repeat from * all around, end at base of 1st loop (12 loops). Sl st along first three sts of ch.

Row 6:

* Ch 6, sc in same loop, (ch 6, sc in next loop) twice, repeat from * all around, end at base of 1st loop (18 loops). Sl st along first three sts of ch.

Row 7:

* Ch 6, sc in next loop, repeat from * all around, end at base of 1st loop (18 loops).

Row 8:

Ch 1, sc 3 x's in each loop all around (54 sts), join with sl st to first sc.

Finishing:
Ch 1, working over elastic band, sc in every other sc around, join with sl st to first sc, fasten off.
