When I was growing
up homosexuality was completely taboo, and it wasn’t so long ago that
society looked upon this lifestyle
as a depravity. When I was in high school in the late sixties homosexuals
were around but they were in the closet so to speak. Our whole society
looked at homosexuality as something in which only
completely abhorrent individuals were engaged. It’s just been in the
last twenty to thirty years that homosexuality has become more and more
legitimized to the point that same sex marriage is now sanctioned in our
culture and in the world as a whole. A real disgrace has come upon this
once great nation.
I realized many
years ago that the homosexuals had an agenda and they are very good at
raising their voices. They have a lobby group that it seems is second to
none. Americans do not have a monopoly on this evil satanic cancer that
has permeated our land from shore to darkened shore. Most countries are
undergoing the same phenomenon in their cultures. Is Satan behind the
homosexuals[N7]
and their agenda? You better believe he is, and that agenda is taking aim
at the true believers in Christ. I’m not talking about those individuals
who even though they profess to be Christians condone this sick behavior.
Satan has no beef with them. No, I’m speaking
of the believer who is
willing to go to jail instead of give in to this godless and perverse
satanic abomination.
As we study our Bibles we learn that homosexuality has been with us almost since the beginning, and through all that time God has never changed His mind on the subject. “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it [is] abomination. If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them,” Leviticus 18:22, and 20:13.
Should we reach
out in Christian love to these individuals? Certainly. The sin of
homosexuality is no greater sin than lying or stealing. But liars and
thieves don’t try to force their agenda of lies and thievery on us as a
normal lifestyle, excluding politicians of course. We aren’t being asked
to accept any other sin as normal other than sexual sin. This satanic
agenda is to legitimize the abomination of homosexuality throughout the
entire world. Homosexuals believe that if they can accomplish that goal
then they will have peace within themselves.
You see inwardly homosexuals know their chosen lifestyle is wrong; whether
or not they admit it as being wrong depends upon whether or not they pay
attention to the Holy Spirit working on their minds and hearts to turn
them away from that evil. Right now homosexuals are playing right into the
hands of the enemy. If we born again believers in Christ allow this
abomination to spread and become completely legitimate, then Satan wins
the battle. You can be completely assured that this is Satan’s agenda.
Keep in mind,
homosexuals are just people, and as such God
loves every one of them as He does heterosexuals. God is no respecter of
men. Jesus is patiently waiting for all men to come to Him. According to
some sources many people have come out of the homosexual lifestyle and now
live “God ordained” heterosexual lives.
Jesus won’t wait
forever. Very soon now God will say to Him “Go get my people” and
those who are born again will be raptured leaving only unbelievers.
Homosexuality is a sin and as such needs to be repented of, that is turned
away from. All homosexuals who accept Jesus as their savior turning away
from their former lifestyle shall also find themselves raptured with all
the other believers in Christ.
It is quite wrong
to look at this abomination to God and actually sanction such evil and
perverse behavior. Living this kind of lifestyle is completely at odds
with God and how He ordained life to be and to increase. We born again
believers in Christ must always be vigilant in our steadfastness holding
fast to the faith so as not to fall prey to such deception ourselves.
Instead of condoning we need to be condemning all vestiges of this
abomination. I can hear your response to that statement right now, “We
aren’t to judge others”, and that’s true. But we must be able to
rightly divide the truth from what is false. All sin is against God
therefore we are to point out any lifestyle that would fall into a
category of being at odds with God. Homosexuality most definitely falls
into that category. We most certainly must not condone such evil. “For
this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did
change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise
also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust
one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and
receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. Who
knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy
of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them,”
Romans 1:26, 27, 32.
It must be
difficult to cope with such behavior in a Christian home. But even if it
divides the home we are told to hold fast to our faith. Even Jesus said He
came to divide not to bring peace to each family, at least not on His
first advent. “Suppose
ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather
division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided,
three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided
against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the
daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against
her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Luke 12:51-53.
I know there are
many across this land of ours and around the world that when confronted
with the truth of my commentary will undoubtedly lash out at me with great
contempt. The words written in my commentary are to convict the believers
in this world who have caved in on one of the most satanic deceptions of
all time. Homosexuality and the condoning of homosexuality will lead to
the destruction of this once great nation. This is not something I want to
see happen, but God’s patience will not allow this deception to advance
much longer.
Daniel Webster once affirmed, "If we abide by the principles taught in the Bible, our country will go on prospering and to prosper; but, if we and our posterity neglect its instructions and authority, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us and bury all our glory in profound obscurity.”
All the indicators
that are on the scene right now are pointing to what the Bible describes
as the end times scenarios. Will those of us who are born again stand up
for right and wrong? Can we stand even in the face of such opposition?
